🫐Let’s make the PB Blue Smoothie from our new cook 🫐Let’s make the PB Blue Smoothie from our new cookbook!🫐 This is our favorite smoothie and the one made most frequently in our house. The kids can make it on their own which is a bonus! It’s packed with wild blueberries, creamy peanut butter and yogurt for a breakfast (or snack) that’s sweet, smooth, super satisfying and good for you. The frozen banana makes it thick, sweet, creamy and frosty. We also often add in a couple green ingredients that you won’t taste (or see!), but will add plant power and lots of nutrition to your smoothie.
Serves: 2
Total time: 5 minutes
Tools needed:
· Measuring cups
· Measuring spoons
· Blender
Ingredients:
· 1 cup unsweetened soy milk, or milk or non-dairy substitute of your choice
· 1 cup vanilla @stonyfield whole milk yogurt
· 2 cups frozen @wildblueberries
· 1 frozen banana
· 2 tbsp creamy @santacruzorganic natural peanut butter
· Small handful baby spinach (optional)
· 1/4 tsp kelp powder (optional)
For topping (optional):
· Frozen wild blueberries
· Lightly salted peanuts, crushed

Instructions:
Wash your hands.

Add milk, yogurt, wild blueberries, banana, peanut butter, spinach and kelp to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth. Pour into two glasses. Top with crushed peanuts and a few more frozen wild blueberries, if desired. Serve.

Recipe note:
· Sunflower butter or other seed or nut butter can be substituted for the peanut butter, if needed.
· We love adding that kid-sized handful of baby spinach for extra nutrition … and guess what?! You’ll never be able to taste it … and, it won’t turn your smoothie green. Give it a try!
· For a lower sugar smoothie, use plain whole milk yogurt instead of vanilla.
Italy. ♥️ The first half of our trip took us to O Italy. ♥️

The first half of our trip took us to Ostra Vetere in Le Marche region, where we celebrated Brittany + Matteo’s beautiful wedding surrounded by family, friends, rolling hills and incredible food. A truly authentic Italian wedding in Matteo’s hometown.

Then we headed to Sirolo on the Adriatic Sea for a few days of beaches, small towns, gelato and some of the most beautiful water we’ve ever swum in.

Such a special trip from beginning to end - and one we’ll never forget.

Rehearsal night at the wedding venue, a beautiful Italian vineyard.

First morning in Italy.

Americans off for their morning run! 🏃‍♀️

Porchetta - traditional meal served as part of the pre-wedding festivities.

The OG Sheas and the bride-to-be.

Ring bearer and flower girl.

The most perfect day and venue to celebrate my sister.

Viva l’Italia!

Lexi’s snapshot of olives she collected in an ash tray, having no idea what an ash tray is or what you do with one.

Poor Lucca got attached by giant wasps on top of his head. On the wedding day. Incredibly painful, but thankfully he was just fine.

Sirolo.

The beautiful Adriatic Sea. Plus two cuties.

Such gorgeous water.

Our flat in Sirolo.

Gelato every afternoon at 4pm. Always with the soccer ball in tow.

My boy.

Last lunch in Italia.

Quick stop in Ascena Piscoli en route to Rome.

La Regina Lexi. 🇮🇹

September 15th … it’s our pub day!! 🥹📚✨ New Engla September 15th … it’s our pub day!! 🥹📚✨

New England Kids Cookbook is officially out in the world TODAY! Find it in your local bookstores and boutiques throughout New England, on Amazon, Target, Walmart and more. If you don’t see the book in your local store, ask them to bring it in!

What started as an idea (Lexi’s idea around the age of 6!) turned into field trips, recipe testing, lots of cooking (and messes!), and so many special memories together. And now we get to share it with all of you. We hope you love it.

We hope this book inspires lots of little chefs to get into the kitchen, try something new, and make some delicious memories along the way.

Happy pub day to us, Lexi! We did it! 🥹❤️

Our first recreational lobstering season is coming Our first recreational lobstering season is coming to an end. We’re pulling our traps this weekend, so soaking up a few of these last early mornings on the water.

We’ve learned a lot, gained a new appreciation for all things lobstering and made some pretty special memories along the way. Already looking forward to next season. Just not the long winter in between now and then 😜.
