Maiori, on the Amalfi Coast was stunning (and terrifying) all at the same time. I don’t know how the Italians drive those roads everyday!! One wrong turn, and you’re down a cliff into the Med. 😵‍💫

Grateful for it all. ♥️

Thanks to my dad, PopPop for this incredible trip. So much time, energy and thought went into the planning of it for 14 of us.

🦪How do you like your oysters? It’s #National 🦪How do you like your oysters? It’s #NationalOysterDay, so let’s celebrate this small, but mighty bivalve. Oysters pack a powerful nutritional punch. As a registered dietitian and seafood lover, I always say these gems are nature’s multivitamin. Here are some highlights. Oysters:

- Provide an excellent source of zinc to support the immune system and wound healing
- Provide an excellent source of Vitamin B12 which supports nerve and blood cell health and plays a role in energy production, mood regulation and cognitive function
- Provide omega-3 fatty acids to reduce inflammation and support brain + heart health
- Provide an excellent source of iron, essential for transporting oxygen in your blood. Oysters are one of the richest sources of heme iron, the form readily absorbed by the body
- Are low in calories and rich in protein

Whether you slurp ‘em raw, roast ‘em, or toss ‘em on the grill, oysters are a delicious way to nourish your body.

**Note: children, those were are pregnant, older adults and those with weakened immune systems should not consumer raw oysters due to the risk of food borne illness.**
